Aim
To raise awareness of the potential
impact of ACEs on individuals,
communities, and the importance of
trauma informed practice
Learning Outcomes
• To raise awareness of ACEs; their
potential impact across the
lifespan
• To develop understanding of the
impact of trauma and ACEs on the
brain and possible subsequent
behaviour
• To respond effectively with an
ACE/trauma informed lens
• To understand the importance of
preventing and mitigating ACEs
using a trauma informed approach
• To develop understanding of
emotional health and wellbeing
and support pathways for staff and
service users
